Apples (Sold)

These are some drawings I did for Darmon's art class. We had to draw a fruit, then the same fruit in halves, quarters, and eighths. It was a good assignment, I got 50/50 for all my sketches.

Ghostmoon.

Watercolor of moon behind red trees. It's actually a lot less dark, but I think the black makes the moon stand out more, which is good.

"You can title this one." -Alicia

Again, this is a lot less dark in the flesh. Mme. Dupaul actually once told me that she liked this one during an Expo Art outing, and it was nice to have someone other than my usual audience give their opinion on something I did. A few people have said to me that they'd like this as wallpaper, but I think that'd be a little overwhelming, unless they just mean on their desktop.

Bloodmoon.

I like the moon here a lot. I just wish the colors hadn't bled so much, it makes the tree branches look kind of furry.

Rainy Forest (Sold)

One of my favorite watercolors of mine. Trees are a lot of fun to paint in watercolors.

Sushi

This is a weird painting. I only realised once I finished it that it was a picture of sushi, and that I didn't actually really like sushi all that much the one time I tried it. A few months later I actually tried some again and liked it a lot, however. This picture is serving as my desktop wallpaper.

Shrapnel

The first painting of what was my kind of more abstract period. The title was only made up about four seconds before posting it, but I do like this piece a lot.

Friends.

I actually drew this earlier this afternoon. Jocelyne wearing her scarf and looking sheepish, Anne pondering and holding a fountain pen, and Kelsey in despair over the loss of her beloved slushi.

Female Centaur (Sold)

One of my favorite sketches. A female centaur observing some butterflies. I'm quite proud of the shading.

Wake Up Taste

Some girl's morning routine.

Seven.

I used to watch this show with a character named Seven who looked like this. I'm envious of her tattoos.

Italian Family

Based on a photograph I came across a little while ago on google images. Some of their characteristics have been altered, but the basic idea is still the same. the little boy standing on top between his mother and father looks like my uncle when he was a kid.

Tarot

I'm pretty fond of these two drawings, especially the coloring and the perspective on The Fool's face. Based on tarot cards, obviously. I've received quite a few compliments on the second one, but The Sun is my favorite.

Kaj and Ariel, China

Sketch of a picture I found on Facebook of Ariel and Kaj while they were in China. Everyone who's seen this has told be that Kaj really looks like himself. In real life, I mean. I'm kind of proud of the hair on both of them.

Boots (Sold)

Scene from my childhood; hanging out with my animals and putting on my boots to play outside. I actually owned that dress and wore it every chance I got. Also I actually looked like that.

Scarves.

When I'm applying to different art programs, these three drawings are definitely going in my portfolio. I'm supremely happy with the way these came out, especially their expressions.

Clan Comic Book Style

Haha, these make me laugh. The top drawing I did during an exam when I finished early, the middle one is all of our heads (Jocelyne, myself, Kelsey, Ariel, Anne), and the third is of an incident that occurred at Kelsey's birthday party when we were all in dire need of sleep. Not particularily happy with the comic strip. The first panel is good, but the other two are kind of rushed and could have been a lot better.

People and Birds: A Paper Bag Piece

Infamous paper bag piece. A guy in a bird mask, a tribal looking woman, a hispanic woman, and some birds. Took forever to ink, done in pencil, ballpoint pen and watercolors.

Sad Balloon. (Sold)

A pretty simple piece, but it makes me happy. A lonely balloon stuck in some tree branches.

Fruit

Practice piece for coloring, done in wax crayons. Different fruits.

Koala the Trumpetier.

Little doodle. A koala playing the trumpet. Anne rather likes this one, so this is mostly on Honey Sun for her.

Red Riding Hood

Drawing from grade eight. I like how Riding Hood came out, but the trees are a little awkward. I'm pleased with the wolf. One of the first bigger drawings that I did in my sketchbook.

Alicia's room

Grade eight sketch of the end of my bed, my dresser and mirrors, plus some art stuff on a little table. I own too many candles.

Dreams

I don't actually have dreams about DJ bunnies, mice under flowers, and candles, but when I first drew this it was just my pillows and nightstand with a big gaping space on top, so I figured I ought to fill it up with something. Those are comfortable pillows.

Green Dress

This, of course, isn't the famous green dress that I wore to my fifteenth birthday. This is an earlier green dress that I wore to my cousin's wedding. It's more of a kelly green.
Dress hanging on my closet doors. There's also an acryllic painting fo this that I believe Jocelyne has, but it's pretty disappointing.

Under construction

Hey, guys.

Recently I found a working scanner, but unfortunately, there was no cord to connect it to the computer. Hopefully I'll be able to get one soon, so check back and have a look-see.
